Domain Backorders remain active until they capture a domain name or you manually cancel them.<\/p>\n<p>If you have not yet set up a backorder, see <a href=\"http:\/\/help.secureserver.net\/article\/598?prog_id=110402&amp;locale=en\">Setting up Domain Backorders<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<h4>To Change a Backorder to a Different Domain Name<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your Account Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Next to <strong>Domains<\/strong>, click <strong>Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>From the <strong>Buy\/Sell<\/strong> menu, select <strong>Backorders and Monitoring<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the domain name you want to change.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Change Domain Name<\/strong> and enter the new domain name.<\/li>\n<li>Read the <strong>Domain Name Back Order and Monitoring Agreement<\/strong>, select <strong>I have read and agree &#8230;<\/strong> , and then click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm <strong>Contact<\/strong> details.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can change your Domain Backorders service to a different domain name as long as the backorder remains active.
