We know you’re excited to get your email set up on your iPhone\u00ae, iPad\u00ae or iPod\u00ae Touch. We should have your email working on your device in about 5 minutes. These steps work for most of our customers, but sometimes you might need to make some additional changes depending on where you live and which ISP(s) you use.<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you follow the steps below, and you can’t receive or send email, please see\u00a0iPhone: Troubleshooting Email<\/a>\u00a0for help.<\/p>\n

BEFORE YOU START:<\/strong>\u00a0To set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with your email, you need to know your POP or IMAP Email Server Settings and ports. To find them, go to the\u00a0InfoCenter<\/a>\u00a0and write down the information that displays under Email Server Settings.<\/p>\n

To Set up Email on Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. \"\"<\/a>\u00a0Go to\u00a0Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. On the Settings screen, tap\u00a0Mail, Contacts, Calendars<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Tap\u00a0Add Account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Tap\u00a0Other<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. Tap\u00a0Add Mail Account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Enter your\u00a0Name<\/strong>, email\u00a0Address<\/strong>,\u00a0Password<\/strong>, and a short\u00a0Description<\/strong>\u00a0for your email. Tap\u00a0Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. If you have IMAP, tap\u00a0IMAP<\/strong>. If you’re not sure, tap\u00a0POP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  8. Use these settings for your Incoming Mail Server, depending on the type of email account you have:

    Host Name<\/td>\npop.secureserver.net<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

    Password<\/td>\nEnter your email account password.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
    IMAP<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n
    Tap\u00a0IMAP<\/strong>\u00a0at the top.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Host Name<\/td>\nimap.secureserver.net<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  9. Use these settings for your Outgoing Mail Server:

    Host Name<\/td>\nsmtpout.secureserver.net<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    User Name<\/td>\nEnter your full email address.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Password<\/td>\nEnter your email account password.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0Even though iOS labels these fields as Optional, our email serversrequire<\/em>\u00a0them to send email.<\/li>\n

  10. If you have IMAP, tap\u00a0Next<\/strong>, and then tap\u00a0Save<\/strong>. Otherwise, just tap\u00a0Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    That’s it. On your device, go to\u00a0Mail<\/strong>\u00a0(it’s usually in the row at the bottom of your screen). If everything is working OK, you should see some email messages. To make sure you can send messages, go ahead and compose an email and send it to yourself.<\/p>\n
