.Realtor went to far to warn its members just over a year ago not to “pre-register or pay money to an outside company for a .REALTOR top level domain because NAR will oversee registrations for .REALTOR…only NAR members are eligible for a .REALTOR domain and membership will be verified via the NRDS system at registration. Additionally, NAR plans to provide members a free .REALTOR domain that is associated with their name for one year on a first-come, first-serve basis”

Well the 1st year is now over and the cost (rack rate) to renew a .Realtor domain name appears to be $39.95 according to the .Realtor website

.Realtor reached over 110,000 registrations but now that domains are coming up for renewal and renewals appear not to be free, the number of registered domain names has dropped closer to 98,000.

Whonami-.XYZ just broke through the 1.5 million mark in registered domain names

According to Thedomains, .XYZ Tops 1.5 Million Domains As Domain Registrations Return To Normal.

.XYZ just broke through the 1.5 million mark in registered domain names which is net includes pending deletes.

The CEO of XYZ Daniel Negari told TheDomains.com that he was ecstatic! and thinks they should break 2 Million within the next 6 – 9 months.

In general domain world returned to normal numbers over the last few days as yesterday looked like a typical Sunday.

Total new domains were just over 122,000 but only over 12,000 net after deleted domain names.

.Com as more typical gained a few thousand net registrations on Sunday (although it’s not uncommon for it to lose a few thousand on a weekend day)

.Net, .Org, .info all had small net loses and no new gTLD had bigger than a 4 digit net gain and none had over 3,500 or so net gains.

From the Workspace Control Center or the Email Setup Center, you can use the Email Setup Wizard to quickly and easily set up your email account to work with your mobile device or desktop email client.

To Use the Email Setup Wizard

Log in to your Account Manager.
Click Workspace Email.
Select Email Setup Center and click Get Started. The Email Setup Wizard will open to help guide you through the process.
Select if you want to set up a Mobile Device or Desktop Client for your email.
If you selected Mobile Device, on the Mobile Device Setup page:
1. From the Choose an account list, select the email account you want to set up.
2. From the Choose a mobile device list, select the type of mobile device you are using.If you selected iPhone, select the iPhone Auto Setup checkbox to use the iPhone Auto Setup feature, or clear the checkbox to view the manual set up instructions.
3. Click Next.
4. On the Setup page for the device you selected, follow the instructions to set up email on your mobile device.
5. Optional: To print the setup instructions, click the Print instructionsicon. Or, to email the setup instructions, click the Email instructionsicon, enter an email address in the To field, and then click Send.
Click OK.
If you selected Desktop Client, on the Desktop Client Setup page:
1. From the Choose an account list, select the email account you want to set up.
2. From the Desktop Client list, select the desktop email client you are using.
3. Click Next.
4. On the Setup page for the email client you selected, follow the instructions to set up email.
Click OK.

You can always use Web-Based Email to send and receive email messages. But you also can view your email with an email client. To change your POP account to an IMAP account, you must have an email plan that supports IMAP.

You can change to IMAP by changing your existing account or by creating a new one from within your email client. You cannot change the account type for some clients, including Apple Mail, Outlook 2003®, Outlook 2007®, Outlook Express®, and Thunderbird®. To use IMAP with these clients, you must create a new account.

Verifying Your Email Account Supports IMAP

Only our Unlimited Email plan supports IMAP. If you do not have an Unlimited Email plan and you want to use IMAP, you can upgrade your plan.

Log in to your Account Manager.
Click Workspace Email.
If your email plan is an Unlimited Email plan, IMAP is supported. If not, next to the account you want to upgrade, click Options.
Go to the Overview tab, and then from the Upgrade menu, select Unlimited.
Click Upgrade.
Continue through the checkout process.

Upgrading your email account to support IMAP can take up to 24 hours.

Changing Your POP Account to an IMAP Account

Before You Start:

You need the names of your incoming and outgoing servers to set up email with a client. Web-Based Email contains this information.

Log in to Web-Based Email at email.secureserver.net.
From the Help menu, select Email Setup Center.
Make a note of your incoming and outgoing server information.
Continue with the procedures outlined below to set up your email client.
To Change Your POP Account to an IMAP Account

In the client you use to check your email, locate the account settings and enter the following:

Incoming Mail Server — Your incoming IMAP server.
Outgoing Mail Server — Your outgoing SMTP server.
Incoming Port — Without SSL – 143
With SSL – 993
Outgoing Port — Without SSL – one of the following:25, 80, 3535
With SSL – 465

You can always use Workspace Webmail to send and receive email messages. Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) lets you access email stored on a mail server from multiple computers and devices. To use IMAP email, you must have an email plan that supports IMAP.

It lets you access your email messages and files without transferring them between computers. You set up IMAP on the computers from which you want to access email from your account.

Our servers often use different names for folders compared with the client you’re using. Folders, such as Sent, might remain out of sync until you correctly map them. To do this, clients, such as Microsoft Outlook®, typically publish detailed instructions online. We recommend searching the Internet for instructions from that client to correctly map your folders.

BEFORE YOU START: To set up your email client with your email, you need to know your POP or IMAP Email Server Settings and ports. To find them, go to the Email Setup Centerand write down the information that displays under Email Server Settings.

To Set Up IMAP for Your Email Account

Create an account with your email client.
In the client for which you want to configure IMAP, locate the IMAP settings and enter the following:

Username

Your full email address

Password

Your email account password

Incoming Mail Server

imap.secureserver.net

Outgoing Mail Server

smtpout.secureserver.net

The difference between POP and IMAP

POP stands for Post Office Protocol, and was designed as a simple way to access a remote email server. The most recent version is POP 3, and is supported by virtually all email clients and servers.

POP works by downloading your emails from your provider’s mail server, and then marking them for deletion there. This means you can only ever read those email messages in that email client, on that computer. You will not be able to access any previously downloaded emails from any other device, or with any other email client, or through webmail.

IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol, and was designed specifically to eliminate the limitations of POP.

IMAP allows you to access your emails from any client, and any device, and webmail login at any time, until you delete them. You are always seeing the same emails, no matter how you access your provider’s server.

Since your email is stored on the provider’s server and not locally, you may run into email storage limits, when using IMAP.

According to DomainNews, Google won another UDRP case seeking to obtain the transfer of iGoogleApps.com and iGoogleMovies.com domainnames. The company submitted the complaint with the National Arbitration Forum on July 28, 2015.

According to whois records, iGoogleApps.com was first registered on April 14,2014, while iGoogleMovies.com was first registered on May 18,2014.
Google owns many trademark registrations for the “Google” mark all over the world. Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain names are confusingly similar to its trademark.Moreover,the company managed to demonstrate that the respondent has no rights or legitimate interest in the disputed domain names and that the respondent used the domain names in bad faith .

The arbitrator assigned to the case ruled in favor of Google,indicating that the company has full rights to the disputed domain names .The company managed to demonstrate that the complainant used the domain names to attract internet users for commercial gain . Google also contended that the respondent used one of the domain names trying to pass itself off as complainant.
