The new domain addresses release is currently in its beginning phase, but is growing fast, as Angus Richardson, CEO of Dot Kiwi, notices. Dot Kiwi domain has exceeded expectations about sales, proving how interested people are in New Zealand in going for new possibilities. If previously people had to resort to .com or .net names, now they have a much wider choice. Currently .kiwi has reached position 25 in point of worldwide sales.

There are important organizations and personalities who currently use this domain name, starting with telecom companies, sportsmen, actors and many more.

The registration of .kiwi has also led to an increase of sales for .nz domain names and another consequence is that Australia is about to allow people to buy domain names ending in .au, which gives New Zealand an important role of leader in the region, according to Richardson.

Dot Kiwi has been one of the first domain names created to connect people with their geographical and cultural identity and it was followed by other denominations such as .londoners, .parisians or .berliners. At the same time, it was launched in order to allow customers to associate their business to New Zealand on the internet, offering a wider choice and creativity to people and organizations and the possibility of a different brand than the competitors.

Radix the registry for .ONLINE announced today that .Online is the fastest gTLD to sell 100,000 domains names since their launch less than 3 months ago.

After a very successful launch which broke all new gTLD records with 38,000 domain names registered in the first 24 hours of General Availability, .online surpassed 100,000 domain registrations this morning.

The 100,000th domain to be registered was myfamilyroots.online that came through eNom.

This milestone comes at a time as Radix also surpasses 1 million Domains Under Management.

A quick scan of the .online zone through DataProvider pulls out some interesting data points according to Radix:

• 100+ .online sites are in the Alexa.com top 1 million & it’s the 2nd fastest new domain extension in terms of new additions to the Alexa 1 million list (for the last 30 days)

• 70% of .online domain names are between 3-10 characters

• 28,500+ .online domains already have developed sites in just 2.5 months of launch. This excludes sites with parked & placeholder pages.  Of those developed sites, there are a total of 246,085 pages and 9,727 are optimized for mobile or have a mobile version.

According to DomainInvesting,  Sedo ran a numeric auction in conjunction with the .Club registry, and the auction concluded today. Sedo shared the results of the auction, which netted $44,727 in total sales.

The top three sales were triple repeating numbers – 555.Club, 111.Club, and 666.Club. The next few sales had the number 8 in them. 16 auctions had bids greater than $1,000. The lowest value sale was 544.Club, which sold for $169.

XA.COM Domain Name Sells for $850,000.

According to Domain News, the domain name XA.com was recently sold for $850,000. The buyer is Kyar Kyin Yang of the Philippines.

According to whois records, the domain name was first registered in 1998. Moroever, the domain name seems to have been sold by Vincent Cheng.

XA.com has become the third largest domain name sale of this year, and the second largest LL.com domain name.

According to the DomainNews, Total New gTLD Registrations Pass 10 Million. There are now over 10 million domain names registered across the 795 new gTLDs that have entered General Availability .

According to ntldstats, there are now 10,018,815 new gTLD registered .The 9 million registration mark was hit just a couple of weeks ago.

The new gTLD with the most registrations continues to be .xyz with 1,619,206 registrations, or 16.14% of all domain names.Second on the list is .top with 887,644 registrations, followed by .Wang with 586,122 registrations.

Eight new gTLDs have over 100,000 domain names registered: Club, .Science, .Party, .Link, .Click, .Ren, .Website, and .Realtor. .Online and .Date .

According to ntldstats.com , there are now 794 new gTLD domain name extensions.

RoominStyle.ru is the 5-millionth domain name registered on .RU at  3:15 pm on November 5, 2015 . The domain name was registered by REG.RU .

At the time of writing this article, .RU taked the 6th place among the world’s national domains in the number of registered names and is on the 10th among all gTLDs.
